okay, i’ve decided that i’m making a mock coffee table book with the digital prints in my Immortality series. i plan to print it (a year or so from now, once i’ve completed the series) using blurb to make it look very clean, sharp, and professional. (as professional as a non-published book can look.
my problem is in deciding what text to add. i researched and gathered interesting quotes from each person that i have photographed
ie: “i knew i belonged to the public and to the world, not because i was talented or even beautiful, but because i had never belonged to anything or anyone else.” -norma
so i’m thinking that underneath the actual image, i would have the title (the individual’s first name) and then a small quote that describes either how they viewed life or how they viewed their work.
however, i dont want it to come off as too heavy or over-dramatic. i think i’m going to go ahead and put together my ideas for the critique next week and decide after i get feedback. (that is, if i get feedback…)
